Well hello lovely people – it’s been a while!
There has been a massive resurgence in all things Vintage these days – whether it be clothes, cars or China! My Vintage hire orders have come out of nowhere in their hundreds (ok well dozens!) with a range of events & parties covered in the last few months. Some highlights for me have been loading up a car load for Air BnB Dublin HQ last week and also seeing my China in the grand rooms of Adare Manor over the Summer which was recently named Europes Number 1 Resort in the Condé Nast Traveler Readers Choice Awards 2019.
So how can you use some on trend Vintage China in your event?! Here’s some ideas:
Office Bake Off Event
Is your office a great one for fundraising and giving back to the community? An office Bake Off is an excellent way to get the blood pumping during an otherwise boring week of office administration – while also raising funds for a good cause. Vintage china tea stands are a great way to display your handcrafted-Paul Hollywood handshake worthy goods – Add some fancy teapots and you’ve got yourself a gem of an office event!
Baby Shower Afternoon Tea
So you’re struggling to come up with an idea for your expectant friend that doesn’t involve heading to the pub/winebar so that she can actually feel part of the party. The solution – A fancy Afternoon Tea party! Go the whole hog for this with tiny cakes, dainty sandwiches and mini scones slathered in cream and jam (YUM!) Hire all the gorgeous China and add in some white linen tablecloths, her favourite flowers and some cool hanging paper decorations. A lovely, pretty afternoon that all the ladies can enjoy
A Bitch n Stitch Session
These kind of events have only gotten more popular in Dublin and across the country – learn to sew and accompany it with a cuppa out of a dainty China cup. What better way to enjoy learning a new skill then having a natter and a gossip over a cup of scald. This can be a great office event or indeed just a way to catch up with friends once a month. Set yourself little sewing or knitting challenges each month and show off your wares at each tea party.
Just 3 little ideas for an excuse to fancify your tea time!
